Any of them should do it without any questions :)
I'm pretty sure there's one on Princes street.
Or some street that joins Oliver Plunkett and South Mall

but its one of those fancy keys, that you need permission from the landlord or such

Oh right - why not get your GF to get it.
She has every right as she lives there...(i presume)
Or if it's your house you should have no problem getting permission

If the key is registered then there are only a few place that should cut it, Cuneens on Oliver Plunkett St is one but they are obliged to inform the registered owner.

Is it possible to get a key cut for a door if you don't have th original key??

Can they come out to the house and take a print of the key or something?

Go to a cobblers, most of them will do it no questions asked.

But, why do you not just ask the land lord can you move in?

Or, is it that your GF doesn't want you?

If the key is registered then a cobblers shouldn't be able to buy the blanks to make copies on...
Life is MUsic: I would say yes but most of the time its just easier to change the barrel.

Well, the thing is, it is I tried to get on the lease but the landlord doesnt want that, even though he advertised it originally for a couple. And my gf did try to get a spare key put the property management wouldnt allow it. Its a house spilt into 3 appartments, so I cant change the lock myself.

So Im thinking of engineering one myself
