    Hi guys , this seems to be the best forum for this request if not could one of the Mods please move it to a better suited forum.

    I'm hosting a charity gig on Wed 15th October in Barcode Clontarf for HopeSource Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and I'm looking for a sound engineer for the night.

    There will be around 6 or 7 acts on that night from a solo guitarist to a full band with brass section.

    I was going to do this myself but will be far to busy on the night to give it my full attention.

    I will be renting a full PA for the night and will discuss with whoever can help me anything they might need in addition to this

    If anybody is intersted in donating their time on the night to this worthy cause it would be most appreciated.

    I would but I don't think I free that day, what time is kick off?
    Prob couldn't get there till eight or so...
    If you stuck I'll pitch in, good cause.

    Hi Robbie,

    I might be able to help out. I have a 4kw PA that I hire out for events like yours. I'm not a shop though I do work for a few hire companies when I'm not busy. If you want to PM me I can give you my details and a quote for the hire. I also have a full backline available

    Most PA suppliers should provide an engineer with their gear. And lighting. Generally they have to pay someone to deliver it anyway and should set it up and ensure it is all working to your satisfaction if you are getting it without engineer.
