Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    As for the woman breastfeeding her 4 year old, humans are designed to breastfeed their kids until they're about 7 years old

    The average age that children are weaned at worldwide is 4 and a half, childrens immune systems only start functioning at an adult level at 6 years so its not that much of a stretch to suggest that humans can/should bf children until they are 7, here the factor is suck reflex which the child looses not the ability of the mother to produce milk.
