    Hi everybody,
iTunes 8 and the new release of firmware for iPod Touch v2.1, does that mean you have to purchase the new firmware like the v2.0 version?
so it was around €10 for the last firmware, does the consumer have to fork out another €10 for each firmware?

If you bought 2.0, then 2.1 is a free upgrade. If you didn't buy 2.0 and don't have it installed, then you have to buy 2.1 at €10 if you want to upgrade to it.

I upgraded from 2.0 to 2.1. Didn't notice any glaring differences between them.

    Just upgraded.

Backup is faster, and the genius integration, a few other things like app installs etc.
