Just wanna show the diffrence to people,
7.6Mb is better for people who do alot of downloading.
If your on the 7.6 and you do alot of online gaming you should ring 1901 and ask them to put you back on 3Mb, its cheaper and better pings.
    Out of 7616/672 (kbps)
    Im getting,

the 10th thread covering this subject, no offence but im getting tired of reading it, people are fully aware on this problem and the "solution".

But your contention goes from 24:1 to 48:1 on the 3Mb package, depending on how contended your exchange is, You could find your connection slowing down drastically in the evenings with 48:1

    Interesting attitude.
Boards.ie are not solely for your entertainment or solely to alleviate your boredom, but to get people out of technical pickles and the like. If you don't like what you are reading, go to a forum that is more interesting.
    Your attitude sucks.

There's a 2574 post thread here which covers all of this already.

Nuxxx is right, there's no new ground being covered here, this is just repetition.

Well why did he not just say that, instead of going into the "I'm tired of this s**t" self riteous rant.

    OP,

Are you 100% sure you didnt post up the same ping times twice?

It is rather odd if you get the exact same ping times twice on the same line, let alone on a downgraded line.
