    Right im thinking of buying a Peugeot 306 van im just wondering what do people think of the 306 in general,I know they dont have the best of names and my friends 1 gave awful trouble but was he just unlucky?

    Oh its a 1.9 tdi amd 2001

    My friend had the 1.4 hatchback. Don't think he had many problems, and with the seats folded down completely, it could fit a huge amount of stuff in the back.

    Yeah. I think the 306 is fairly solid in general.
    Just a few things to remember. It'll be hard to find one that age with less than 100k miles on the clock esp a diesel one.
    Also if you do find one your interested in make sure you've got a mechanic with you to give it a good check over esp if you're not mechanically minded.
    As Eoin said, you can fit a lot in the back of one of them.

    In fairness you are talking about a 7 or 8 year old diesel van so most will have been used for their entended purpose at some stage by now.
