Getting paid the grant

Sorry if this has been asked before. I qualified for the maintance grant this year but I was wondering how do I get paid it? I presumed that when I registered I would hand over my bank details but this didn't happen. Do I get a cheque in the post or something? Thanks.

Depends on the college you attend and who you are getting your grant from, all have differnet systems

in maynooth a notice goes up in the grants office saying which councils grants r in, u go 2 to office with your student card sign your namee and bingo a nice fat cheque!
