Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting a wall built - advice needed

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum but hopefully I can get some advice here.

I live in a semi detached house. My next door neighbour and I share a driveway with no wall/gate in the middle.

I would like to build a wall to separate our gardens, add a gate but not sure how to go about it.

    1) Do I need to ask the neighbour for permission to build the wall?
    2) Would I expect them to help cover the costs, or is it just the case of whoever wants it most has to fork out?

Also how much would such work set me back approx.?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Not our department as such but yes, if you are intending to build on the boundary, you should ask your neighbour. At that stage you you can ask if they wish to contribute financially or not. They dont have to.

As to the cost I have no idea. If you post up the length, height and thickness of the wall Im sure some of the guys here will give you an idea.
