Help in Getting new phone line for broadband

    Hi,

    I was wondering if someone could maybe help me. I don't know anything about all this and would like someone to explain what to do I would be grateful for this.

    I am going to get aphone line in my apartment. I want to get smart broadband 6mb connection

    first question: is smart broadband the best? if not then which is? I can't get UPC.

    2nd question, do i then get eircom to put in the line? how do i do this without telling them that i want to get smart broadband? will the line definitely be okay for smart 6mb?

    can someone outline the steps for me as I am not too good at all this
