xr125 yay or nay?

hi i'm just wondering if people think 3000 for an xr 125 + helmet, gloves, and "buffalo dart " jacket is a good price?? 2008 model, brand new

sounds like a good deal alright (helmet sounded a bit cheap imo)

i'd look into it a bit more - could be something like that 1000e off deal yamaha were doing with ybrs a while ago (think it was them anyway ) - dealers could quite easily keep the price the same, and just throw in a set of gear...

not saying thats whats happening here, guess Im just a sceptic - sounds too good to be true and all that

hmm yeah, only thing is there aren't many places to find out the rrp ....you know??
i'd say since on the site they say like, you'll get a helmet to that value, not necessarily that helmet i could put some money towards it to get a better one, it's 2895 with the extra gear....and the helmet alone is worth 210.
so its an extra 100 for a helmet worth 200 and a jacket(i have one so i'll prob get it for my sis, she just got a ninja 250 ) and gloves, i need a good pair.......so its not that bad, i'd just like to know if 2895 is worth it for a honda xr125 .?

I think you'd be mad buying a new 125 in the first place, but however! It seems like a good price - at that price it puts it between the cg125 (~2500), and the cbr125 (~3500), which sounds about right


if the xr125 is a good bike or not, well Ive no idea really (same engine as the cg125 afaik, so should be pretty reliable). Since this forum seems as dead as the proverbial, I'd recommend biker.ie, or irishbikerforum.com for a better response
