Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows XP Update Problem

    Hi All,

I installed some windows xp updates on wednesday and I have been having problems connecting to the internet ever since.

I don't know what the patches were as I have windows automatic update turned on and I installed them without reading what they did (won't do that again!)

Now every time I start my pc I have to 'repair my network connection' and then 'repair my internet connection' using the diagnostic tool.

Q1. How can i fix this problem permanently?

Q2. Where can I view what windows XP updates were last installed on my pc?

    Any advance greatly appreciated.

You can view the updates by looking at the installed programs in add and remove programs in control panel. Make sure the show updates box is ticked.

try using system restore to restore pre patches.

option b would be to uninstall all updates in add remove programs (start > run > appwiz.cpl)

option c would be to uninstall your network cards in device manager and reinstall them (start > run > compmgmt.msc)

option d would be repair / reinstall.
