Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anybody tell me briefly what the difference is between a Yamaha Virago 250 XV and an XVS, thanks.

The "S" has some nice extras like chrome engine covers, buttons on the seat and a couple of other things I can't remember. Mainly cosmetic but the "S" looks a lot better for it.

If you have the cash go for the XVS.

The XV and XVS are two different bikes.
However there is a xv250s where really the "s" means the year it was out. (the s was out in 2004..i think). There is lots of small changes over the years with the XV250 Virago but nothing of consequence. No difference in looks from what I know, except for colours.
    This is an XV250
