Going into the break sitting pretty on top with a 23 point lead

Did pretty good this week with 43 points.

Gerrard and Xavi didn't play for me this week at all, so zero from those two and my subs never play so had to take the hit there. Kinda have to expect that on the last round of games anyway.

Raul did the business for me last night and I had Benzema as captain, so that's where the bulk of my points came from.. If only I had Raul as captain!

An inspired transfer this week was Lampard out (suspension) for Brighi of Roma, who scored... Scored 2 in the previous round as well. Definitely a player to watch out for in the next round of games.

14 million in the bank as well... Its going to get tasty on the transfer front as the teams get less and less...

Already got my transfers in for the first knockout round (you're allowed unlimited free transfers until the first legs begin). I had seven players out of 15 who were with teams that were eliminated in the group phase. Got in seven lads still in the tournament and now my team value is a spanking €107.5m with €2.4m left in the bank! :cool:

Had Messi as captain too. He was a good shout anyway. Now i'm wondering if Ribery will play in the second leg.

Well I've had my best start to a gameweek this year. 52 pts tonight with 5 to play tomorrow. Great result for the Pool helped a lot

Yep he's been passed fit to play.

I ended up with 16 points with 7 still to come. I've put the captaincy on Berba so I need a big game from him (assuming he starts).

Well another 31 points added tonight thanks to a number of players including Xavi, Messi and Vidic.

Total for week is 83 pts which is by far and away the best week I've ever had.:)

Should be fun now with the six free transfers, the trouble being so many good players too choose from.

Had Messi as captain, so 12 points from him...

Quite a good team but yuo may want to check the status of Klose and Lucio as I could swear that I recently read that Klose was definately injured a few weeks back and Lucio is meant to be carrying a knock
