Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great beer, i think the Bierhaus (cork) had it on draft a little while ago.

The bottle is great, but is a deceptive beer as its easy drinking;)

I can answer the first part, certainly. It's wonderful! But do be careful with it, or it'll have you on your ear in no time. Worth looking out for.

It's savage beer altogether and I've gotten it loads of times in the abbots ale house. I haven't been in there in a few months but I'd be amazed if they didn't have it in stock.

I remember having both delerium nocturnus and delerium tremens on two seperate occassions.

Both quite ncie and very easy to drink (which can be dodgy considering their high alco %).

IIRC the tremens is nicer than the nocturnus, couldnt track down a bottle of tremens for love nor money when I was last home.

If anyone from Dublin's interested in trying it, the Porterhouse definetly sell it.

went in about it last night and they didnt have it!..they usually stock it but it was sold out and i was told i might get my hands on it in a few weeks.

oh I know, those Belgian strong ales are very dangerous, especially when the Brussels beer bar keeps serving you their reserve stock form the cellar :p

Went in there yesterday as well and picked up a few bottles of schneider weisse hopfens. Very nice and potent at 8.2% :D

I know I'm bumping an ancient thread here...but for anyone looking for Delirium in Galway, the off-licence
part of Lohans bar and restaurant in Salthill has the two types of Delirium, along with a decent selection of Belgian and world beers in general, imo anyway. Just picked up a few new ones to try, including a Tremens, they're chilling in the fridge as I type, waiting to be flattened, yum!

I find regular Tremens to taste quite like dried apricot, which is a good thing.

I have couple of their tulip glasses, which I use quite a lot. I like them for the pink elephants!

Yes I'm giving the Tremens the thumbs up for sure, quite tasty. Felt quite light to drink too for such a potent beer, handle with care indeed lol.

Powerful stuff, but very tasty. Strong yeasty flavour but sweet and easy to drink. Be wary, though, a few of these will put you on your arse if you're not careful

Had a bottle tonight, felt the first few mouthfuls were......meh, end of the glass....MOAR!!!! Very tasty once you get into it, very potent. O'briens in Athlone have it now.

A truly sumptuous drink the tremens but I find the nocturnum better (and that's some praise considering). Some bottles display small floaters in suspension, no matter to the taste drink it down. Larger fresh bottles taste better again imo.
May I suggest that if you enjoy the tremens and then if you find yourself liking the nocturnum more so, you should acquire several bottles of rochefort 10 and prepare yourself for the grail of beers imo.
