The BBC have an article here explaining the campaign finances to date. Its interesting how many of the donors are claiming to be retired and the disparity between different industries.

I use this site as it covers everyone.

What is interesting is Obama has not only raised more then McCain, but is in less debt. Wins on being the most fiscal.

It also shows that Obama is getting way more of the female vote then McCain when it comes to donations.

On the fiscal side yes, on campaign strategy you would wonder. He has spent $1.8 million in Georgia and the current difference between the candidates is double figures. It has not been won in 16 years by the Dems and probably unlikely to be this year either.

    LA Times story here

    and

Real Clear Politics has a few other observations on how the money is being spent.

With McCain getting public finances he will have no need for any further fund raising events and have no down time as a result, whereas Obama has at least two set up at a time when every day counts.

Has that changed since Palin came on board?
