Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Usually this is fixed by creating a new identity.
Do that and then import your messages, addresses etc.

Tried the new Identity thing but it still shuts down when I want to compose an email can;t figure it out. Would System restore bring it back to when it was working ok , I can't open Internet options either. Im wondering if this problem is related the outlook express problem.

System Restore will only help you if you know when the system was last working properly. If you can remember when the problem started then you might be able to figure out if you installed anything new, like new programs or Outlook Express add ins that might have caused a conflict.

Do you have a maintenance program that runs regularly on your PC to clear up broken registry entries, clear disk space, defragment hard drive, fix errors etc...? If not you could try this either. I recommend TuneUp Utilities. I have been using it for years and found that running it regularly has sometimes cleared up random errors that were occurring on my machine. You can get a 90 day (I think) trial at http://www.tune-up.com and as far as I am concerned it is very reliable and safe to use.

For information on reinstalling OE and some other things that might help you out try http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/community/columns/oerepair.mspx and see how you get on...
