    It's back once more! Quake Quick Cup III - everyones favourite (or at least it should be) Quick Cup is back...

    The third Quake Quick Cup draws to a close. Unfortunately, hit by a few technical problems between Quake games not running and a ping timeout in the final!

    The finals produced a lineup that many would have been dying to see at the beginning with two-time finalists Rzelky and killy making another appearance. But first they would have to overcome the challenges of kRoNiC and Vinnit respectively.

    But the fans were to be denied another rematch as the newcomers had a different plan. Rzelky fell to kRoNiC 2-0 while killy suffered the same fate.

    The finals produced a stunning display from Vinnit on dm6 as he took a 23-12 win and threw down the gauntlet. kRoNiC took nodm9 but only after falling behind early on and surviving a comeback late in the game.

    The final map would be pro-t4 (again!). Vinnit jumped out to a 8-1 lead before stopping suddenly. The cause was found and Vinnit timed out. The match would be restarted with 10minutes left and the score standing. kRoNiC benefitted from being free to play while Vinnit sorted his connection and closed the lead rapidly. But Vinnit was able to hold his nerve and take the overall win 20-12.

    Thanks to all who took part and spectated. All feedback is once again appreciated. Also thanks to Rzelky for the admin help, thanks to PPC for setting up servers and thanks to Smart Telecom for providing the servers!
