Kids not allowed in the stand in TP?

Trying to book tickets online for Munster v Glasgow next week but with a 5 year-old... I am trying to book a ticket for the stand since 1) I don't think he'll be up for standing for 2 hours... it'll just make him hate rugby and 2) he won't be able to see (and if I throw him up on my shoulders I'll be blocking someone else's view)...

But the "School Pupil" option doesn't seem available for the stands, only the terraces. Is it full price for the youngfella in the stand?

School pupil tickets are terrarce area's only, if you want a stand ticket I'm afraid its full price if your 5 or 55 years old.

Try and get in early and move up right next to the pitch at the railings to give the boy a view without blocking other people, there is no more touch line seating at thomond park any more so you should get a good view.

agree with srubs, get right up to the fence and get early, my son age 10, has been going to tp since he was 6 and has also preferred the terrace to the stand

hope he becomes another convert to the 16th MAN
