3DMark Vantage Scores Results

    From what i have read this benchmark is taking over from the old 3Dmark 2006.

    You can download the BenchMark from here

    Its a nice program and you can get a big reading of your computer parts by selecting it. Found it handy as it told me my SLI was working.

    When you get around to benchmarking your machine upload your scores here.

    Ya, game benchmarks have taken over. 3DMark is very cpu intensive, a quad will score much higher than a dual core. Others will say that a higher clocked dual core is better than a quad for gaming, but in reality any game will play perfectly on any 2.4Ghz+ Core2 cpu.

    New system with everything stock. It's still a few thousand below what I was getting with my OC'd SLI 8800 GTX/Quad core rig though... although it's a lot quieter, lol

    damn still need to get my pics uploaded

    anyway, this 4870x2 really runs hot. Need to start putting together some serious plans for watercooling of this system.

    Here is my current Vantage score with the E8500 @ 3895Mhz and the RAM @ DDR2-1025Mhz

    Ohh you beat me by 110points :).
    Must try it on my CF system and see if i get better results then the SLI system.

    E6600 @ 3.2Ghz (forgot my OC settings, so just put it at 3.2 for lazyness sake)
    GTX260 core 216 at 655/1400/1100 (core/shader/mem) (also a quick random choice OC as I dont have time to OC properly yet)
    4GB 1033mhz (standard clocks and timings)

    P9520 QX6700 @ 3.2 and 8800GTX @ 660/1150

    Impressive 7600 graphics score out of the GPU given mine is a good bit over 2 years old now!

    year old comp and i got 5154

    e8200 @ 3.1ghz and hd 3870 @ 850/1221

    4x1gb of ddr2 800 ram holds back the aul cpu though. boards not the best but i can get 494 fsb with 2 dimms:)
