Recommend a Scope for a .22 Magnum

    Hi,

    Has anyone any good recommendations for a decent scope for a .22 Mag? The old one I have is for a plain .22 and it is just not cutting it! Is there somewhere in Dublin where I can see and shop? I have tried the Fish and Gun shop near Tymon Park already. I just have a nagging feeling I would get more value buying one over the net :)

    its down to your budget and use, the one in canada has no problem shipping to Ireland.

    Sorry about that. Long drive home yesterday after a frustrating shooting day. It was like all the rabbits where hiding and laughing behind my back! :D Ended up shooting the sh1te out of an old Volvo.

    Daithi have you looked at the Hawke Endurance 30 range, I have one on my 17 HMR and I would not fault it at all its great at low light. I paid 400 euro for mine and it was well worth it, stay away from swift scopes if you can, never seen a scope that was so poor on a dull day and the way the weather is going these days looks like we are going to have plenty of poor days :mad:. Optics warehouse in the uk do have some great deals I picked up a Bushnell there the week before last for my .223 and I got 93 pound sterling off it they had a 20 % sale on Bushnell that week.
