Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did a quick search but couldn't find anything about documentation when buying a bike. What is the best way to go about it - what do I need from the seller? I presume they need to send the VLC to Shannon for change of owenership. I'm just a bit paranoid about buying a stolen bike or such.

Yup the VLC needs to be filled in and sent to shannon, by one of you. Check that the registration, frame number, (usually on the headstock) and the engine number tally with the documents. If anything looks suss about the frame number or if there should be a vin plate and its missing, then be wary.

Otherwise if you are unsure, as if the seller has any other backup documents for the bike, service history etc. Its not common to get those, but if you want to be careful its one of the things to ask for.
