Man this video is hard to watch and Im not talking about the audio quality, there is a lot swearing too. It is so sad to see him this way after rehab.

How sad is that ,to go from being one of the most articulate guys on the mic in WWF to a mumbling wreck.
Who let him go out there in that condition?
He found it difficult to even enter the ring , never mind Wrestle.
He came across as drugged rather than drunk to me.
lt is such a shame and an even bigger waste of talent.

JT came out, followed by Jake The Snake. Jake grabbed the microphone and at first said he came here to do this for the fans, But he didnt feel like we were giving him the same respect hes giving us. He started talking incoherently, it was obvious he was on something. after about 3 minutes of talking he put the mic down and staggered into the ring. JT attacked him to start the match. . Jake didnt sell one shot, he just backed into the corner and it seemed like he was out of it. JT Lightning clearly got pissed and just pushed Jake to the ground and got on top of him to cover him and just end the match within 30 seconds of the start. Jake was trying to kick up. JT pushed his arms down and the ref just did a 3 count to end the match because Jake was in no shape to wrestle a match. Afterwards JT Lightning grabbed the microphone and said along the lines of “I’ve wrestled with drug addicts like Tommie Rich, Jimmy Snuka but you are by far the biggest piece of **** I’ve ever been in the ring with/” JT was literally shooting on Jake. Jake just stood in the ring and flipped JT off. Another Firestorm wrestler J Rocc came in after that match was over and attempted to give the crowd a show by doing an attack on Jake so the fans wouldnt be as pissed off about the main event lasting a whole 30 seconds. Which Jake also curled in the corner and no sold. That made J rocc mad who then tried to actually fight Jake. A wrestler named Ray Rowe came out and was trying to calm J rocc and JT down as Jake just stood in the middle of the ring flipping people off. Jake then proceded to pull his penis out and shake it in front of the whole crowd. Security and Ray Rowe were trying to keep the peace. The fans were asked to leave as the show had ended with this nonsense. Out in the parking lot about 15 minutes Jake apparently wound up fighting somebody backstage and there was concern that the angry wrestlers were going to gang up on him. At one point there was a bunch of the wrestlers and security out back, one screamed “Its going down. ” in which they all ran inside. Im not sure what happened but I can only speculate that it was a fight involving Jake Roberts. Cops arrived after this along with an ambulance. The ambulance didnt take Jake away, but the police stayed and escorted Jake to a truck where he was given a ride from the building.

Jake is one of those guys who, to me, i'm surprised hasn't topped himself yet. He's the only guy that just seems to get worse and worse as years go in, the more publicity he gets.

Shame, he had so much to offer, but he only has himself to blame for his downward slide.

I always try to view Jake with horse blinkers on and just enjoy his good moments and hide this ugly side from memory. Unless he decides to go and top himself and his family.

Well he's pretty much excommunicated himself from his ex wife and kids, so he's about 2/3 of the way there already.

His kids have to be seriously f*cked up, the one on Beyond The Mat certainly was.

It's been a long time since I seen that, was that his daughter?

I think he is one of the few wrestler's who started to live his character and this is the natural progression of the Jake the snake character.

The best way for him to rehab would be to give up wrestling.

l felt for her , l really did, and to hear him talk about his
father and how all he wanted was his dads approval
to then go and treat his daughter in that way didn't make sense.

Honestly though, once someone leaves the WWE it's very hard for them to improve on the character they portrayed and improve on their "legend" status.

They can only really retain their status, like Bret Hart but it's very easy for them to simply fall.

Freaky thing happened, today i was actually thinking of jake because i seen a guy playing pool, and it looked exactly like how jake did when he was in beyond the mat.
But he was pretty good back in the hey, he seemed to know where wrestling was going.

Now unfortunately we all know where he has been going for years now.
I think a lot of people would love it if he recovered.

Jake Roberts: “I really wish I could Chris. I don’t remember anything up until the next morning whenever I called Shannon [Jake’s assistant] and did not know where I was at, what I was doing there, what I was supposed to do. Anything. I am still very foggy. I can’t think. I can’t put things together. I can’t remember anything. First off, I just want to say I am terribly embarrassed. I am hurt. I know how many people I’ve let down. I am scared too because I’ve never felt this way in my life.”


CY: You went to the show. You had a radio appearance before the day of the show.


JR: “I did the radio show and they came in and offered me a beer at the radio show and I went what the hell are you doing? I can’t do this. Well, you said you wanted something to drink? Yeah. Coffee would be nice at 8:00 AM. I talked on the radio and maybe that’s what triggered me having that first drink because I was very blunt about my childhood and the things that had happened in my early life and in the past and that is one of the things that has triggered me. I am not blaming it on that. I am just blaming it on just being stupid and thinking that’s what an alcoholic does I guess. I guess he thinks he can have one drink. You know? I don’t remember the show starting. I woke up with my wrestling clothes on. Shannon told me I had wrestled. I was like you’re kidding? I don’t remember anything. Even when I drank in the past I didn’t behave the way they said I behaved. I don’t even know all the particulars yet. I may never want to know them all because I am so sick of it.”


CY: What do you think was in the substance that you drank?


JR: “I don’t know. I am not a chemist. I should’ve went to the damn hospital. Shannon said they took me to the hospital. I did not know.”


CY: So they did take you to the hospital?


JR: “That’s what I’ve heard. That’s what Shannon toldme. They said I wouldn’t take the treatment. My hand is either broken or something. It’s very large. I don’t know how I did that. I got cuts and scrapes all over me. I don’t know if they had to restrain me, if they had to whack me in the head because I’ve got knots on my head. I don’t know anything and I am scared.”


CY: Do you remember when you had the drink or those last moments before you were knocked out?


JR: “I don’t remember anything. I wished I did.”


CY: What’s the last thing you do remember?


JR: “Going to the show and eating a McDonalds. That’s a horrible thing to remember isn’t it? Eating McDonalds.”


CY: Well, obviously you went through rehab and I know this isn’t your normal behavior. What do you say to the fans? What do you say to the entire entertainment community well, how do I know he didn’t fall off the bus again?


JR: “Obviously I did fall off the bus when I had that first drink, which was wrong. I just want to say that I am sick of myself. I am sick of this disease. All I can do is get back up and get up on the pony and ride again because I am not giving up. It’s my life. I am not talking just about wrestling. I am talking about living. I know that. Right now I am just scared to death. I am not a crier. I’ve been crying a lot. I am scared. I am not usually scared of anything. I can’t think and I am pretty sure I am thinking normally, quick thinker. I am having trouble just getting up and remembering how to fix something to eat. I look at stuff and I just don’t move. I don’t know man.”


CY: Finally, do you think you’re a target when you’re going to these shows with all of these people that might be jealous of you for one reason or another?


JR: “I never have felt like that. I don’t know why this has happened. I pray that it never happens to anybody. I am sorry. I can’t even talk. I can’t tell you how scary it is because right now I am shaking just thinking about it. I just don’t want it to happen to anybody. Whoever did it, I hope to hell what goes around comes around and let God sort it out because I am not going on a man hunt because I am scared to even open the door much less anything else.”



Update 7:00 PM EST.

New details have come out via Jake Roberts assistant Shannon. She has sent me the following statement, "We have a witness to the effect of who MIGHT have made a direct attempt to do Jake great harm at the show. WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE. One of the men IN THE RING with Jake is somebody we are going to take a much closer look at. Somebody saw this man with an emvelope with some powder in it at the show. Somebody saw what happened here. We now are very SURE Jake was in fact drugged. More details will be forth coming as soon as we can get permission from this fine individual to offer them."

I'm not sure if i believe that. I'd like to, i'd want to in all good conscience.

Here's the thing, he went to rehab at WWE's expense, which is fair enough, however what were his reasons? He's been scraping for an office job with that promotion, so if he knew that would never be on the cards, it may be enough for him to say "f*ck it" and just go back on the hard stuff again.

I guess i've read too many stories about Jake to care at this stage in the game.

I have been getting a lot of questions and statements about what happened over the weekend with Jake The Snake Roberts...As many of you know I was married to Jake's younger brother , Mike, aka Sam Houston. So we are family even though Sam and I are divorced, Jake is the uncle of my two daughters...Jake and I started in World Class the same day, in fact Jake held the dooropen for me when we went to the Friday morning promo tapings and we were stuck together the whole time I worked the World Class Territory...I have seen Jake really messed up and I mean really messed up...infact the last time we hung out he smoked crack in front of me...that is something he had always fabed from me until then...I felt so bad just sitting there but I love Jake and maybe I was being very selfish cause I just wanted some time with him cause in my heart I knew I would probably never see him again...

Jake is an exceptional talent as many of you know...just he has so many demons and he seeks any way he can to silence their torment...

I got a lot of heat from his ass. Shannon when he went into rehab earlier this year and I asked everyone for their love and supoort to help get Jake through rehab. OMG you would not believe the jealous rants that she sent my way...

my only reason for letting people know that he had gone into rehab was that he needed the positive support of the hundreds upon thousands of true Jake The Snake fans...I don't think anyone was surprised that jake had gone into rehab...in fact I think everyone was relieved that maybe Jake was finally headed in the right direction...we all hoped but very few of us who really knew Jake thought he could end the habbits he had had for decades...plus it was at a show in Texas where he finally "hit bottm"..he got holed up in the hotel and told the promoter he wanted drugs or he wouldn't make his wrestling appearance...I had always heard he had made these demands but blew them off... I knew jake...Jake would demand more money not drugs cause he knew he would get **** instead of high and Jake wanted to get it himself since he knew what he wanted...and yes, I believe the source of the Texas story that said this...even the fact that the promoter told Jake that if he didn't show up he was sending the sheriff to arrest him...jake hightailed it out of town through the aid of a close family member...

I am very familiar with addictions..have a few of them myself...my Dad had more than 35 years of sobriety when he passed away in 2002...he was very proud of that and helped so many people find our higher power and ask for help through the 12 step program...when Sam and I broke up it was my Dad who got me in an AlAnon program to protect my sanity...I didn't think I needed it at the time but as we all know parents know their kids the best and my Dad hit this one on the head...

the following are links to the video from this past weekend and the blog from the wrestler who worked against Jake along with the statement from Jakes ass.Shannon...I have to admit that Shannon came up with a good story to cover for Jake...BUT as everyone knows Jake has pulled some horrible ribs on people...and he would NEVER and I mean NEVER accept an opened drink from anyone...cause you never know what they have done with it from spit to piss to stirring it with their penis to even drugging him,,, and if he is sober like he said then he really wouldn't accept a "cold drink" just for the sake that why tempt fate and his new found sobriety...I believe the blog of the guy that was there...he seems to be intelligent from the way he wrote his blog and the video speaks for itself...

all I can say is jake needs our prayers and support more than ever...

I only pray he doesn't kill anyone else but himself...and Shannon you are an enabler to the highest degree..you may think you are helping Jake but you are the one killing him...

what a f***n mess, to put it bluntly. i was schedualed to wrestle jake "the snake" roberts for firestorm pro last nite. heres the story. the whole story and the only story. i basically ending up babysitting jake. when i first got there, with my kids, i introduced myself to him and he seemed ok. he shook my sons hand and asked him if he was queer....probably cause mike didnt shake his hand "fully". he laughed, figuring hes ribbing him, so we went on our way. so a little bit of time went by and we went to the back and just basically were shooting the **** with john mcchesney....he kept sending boys to go and get him drinks.....no biggie, right....it gets better......soooo, j.c brings us all together for the meeting to discuss what is expected for the nite and then jake comes forth and gives his little speech, basically saying, we have a great opportunity to achieve something special tonite, not to blow it. dont do stuff thats not believable. his example was, him getting drunk with mcchesney and ending up with a midget and thats what he had to tell his girlfriend...anotherwards...its not believeable....the boys popped for his , seemingly sincere comments. well, he never fell through with his own words as he quickly deteriated into worthless piece of ****.....so, the v.i.p. session started and he went up to the front to do his merch. when he got back, he was a little bit more on the "toasted" side. slurring speech etc. so the next thing you know, we are in the back and hes dropping his shorts and walking with his "junk" out. funny ****. not! so he changes and we start discussing our match and hes nixing the idea i had, then he agreed, then he disagreed, then finally agreed. he was sweating beyond belief. he tells me, "get me somewhere cool." hes like standing outside swaying back and forth and then he finally settles on the hood of a car. he tells me, "dont leave me, dont let me fall, dont leave me.....". then he asks me where i live. i tell him and then he asks me if i can get him an 8-ball. then he tells me, hes had "25 shots". i dont know if he did or not, but numbers dont matter here. ..so i basically blow that idea off as he passes in and out. some fans come over and ask him for a picture. jake , says, "picture this," and grabs his crotch....im like, geez, what the f*** am i gonna do with this guy? i can work with anyone, as long as they listen, but dude, wasnt havent it. so we make it back into the theatre where he starts to tell me what were gonna do again......which is NOTHING, like what we called earlier. then all of a sudden he spits out HIS FALSE TEETH!!!! they fall on the floor and hes out again. i look at vince and vince goes"theres ur boy!".... funny vince. so i grab my camera and take a picture of this. no one would believe this.....then during ray rowes entrance where he goes out with a posse, jake passes out on the floor and literally rolls over on his side and grabs one of the posses feet and holds on.....oh, boy.......i go tell jc whats going on and he calls his agent right then and there and was told"jake can still go when hes like that, dont worry"........what the f***....then jake wakes up only to think its our turn and when i inform him we still had 45 minutes to go yet, he starts screaming" f*** him, im gonna kill him. motherf***...." jake goes out to the commentators table and starts doing screwed up stuff on the mic telling the workers in the match to go for it, or some **** like that. im not sure if he called shane taylor "N-WORD". but some say he did....he came back again in the back and he tells me, "just to kill me in the match, only if i dont kill you in 30 seconds, right now ." ok, now, im really getting pissed....i inform jc whats going on. i told him, jakes gonna go into business for himself if he doesnt get out there now. then before you know it, jakes walking down the isle towards the title match. jc scrambles and gets him to finally to the back. things are wayyyy outta control now. its just a matter of time. so now its match time...i go out first. whatever. then he comes out and does a promo. he starts talking about the radio interview he did and asks if anyone heard it. crowd popped a little bit. then he goes on about not being respected or some ****. he then starts asking questions to the motorcycles that were on stage, and yes, I DID say motorcycles. i grab a chair and sit, while i watch this all go down. he ends his promo and i jump him as he enters the ring. i hit him twice, he no sells. im like, f***er!!! i take him to the turnbuckle and choke him. he yells. turnbuckle!!! so i take him and throw him head first into the turnbuckle. he no sells, so i popped him real good with a forearm shot, and he said "whats that all about!" i did it again, hitting him with a stiff forearm to get him to sell and i yell at him, "sell for me you son-of-bitch!!!" i throw him into the buckle again he falls i roll him over for a 2 count, he kicks out, i cover again tighter, and he yells i cant go, what do think im stupid!?" then i tighten down and told the ref to count this piece of **** out. 1-2-3!!!! 2 and half minutes of complete utter bullsh*t. i was so pissed i could of stomped him into oblivion. so basically, i did what i thought was best for us, firestorm, not jake. hes selfish and a disgrace to himself and this buisness. pinning him, means nothing to me, im not a mark, wins and losses dont matter to me, i get paid the same no matter what. but my point is, jake is a LOSER. not just by being pinned-for real--but all the fans saw what a REAL f***N LOSER LOOKS LIKE. AND THATS JAKE ROBERTS!!!!! then after the match hes calling me back in, cause hes pissed, well, then he proceeds to whip out his "junk" right there in the middle of the ring. there were sooooo many kids ther. my wife and my 5 yr old daughter and my kids were there. i was gonna kill this f***. then i cut my promo. whatever. jrocc comes out, to try to calm the matters some and get jake to DDT him and he no-sells jrocc also...jerrys pissed now, wants to fight. cuts the promo on him and then i jetted. 16 yrs in the business and i wrestled countless stars that have been "under the influence", but have been able to perform. i couldnt even carry him. what a joke. dont blame jc. firestorm, me or whoever, the blame goes on jake. hes a big boy now, and he cant handle life and this is what he gets. i personally apologize to all the fans, friends and family who had paid to see me work a "wwe legend" only to be pissed and disgusted by his behavior. people like jake are a dime a dozen and he deserves what comes to him. so, to you, jake roberts, i say, f*** you, from the bottom of my heart!!!!
