Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Can't wait for this. This is the toughest team choice I think Strachan has ever had to make. I think he'll go with;

    Boruc
    Hinkel --- Caldwell --- McManus --- Naylor
    Naka
    Brown
    Robson
    ---- Samaras -- McDonald -- Maloney ----

McGeady, Vennegoor, Crosas, Hartley all losing out.

Juventus Vs Zenith will be a very exciting game, I hope someone shows good highlights of it.

Will be interesting to see the Bayern line-up as well.

maybe not, but there's enough experience in that squad to grind out a few unexpected results imo.

That's the worst United Team I have seen in my life, I don't expect them to pick up 3 points tonight.

Villiareal at 9/2 on Paddy Power is a very tempting price considering the United team selection.

11/2 on betfair far better odds.

Well they're certainly blunt up front. Villareal look comfortable in defence, but don't seem able to offer anything going forward themselves.

Celtic crap so far. They obviously felt AAB can't deal with balls over the top so they're playing long ball from defence.

Aalborg giving Celtic a game for thier money, some nice work in and around the area, pity (for the Danes) the whistle blew when it did.

    Lyon 2 down against Fiorntina

    Mike.

It's because he's working with Mutu again. Any striker in Italy who works with Mutu becomes amazing all of the sudden. Gila won the Capaconiere playing with him at first. Then Adriano came on loan and got 20+ goals. Then it was Luca Toni who came in and did the business and now it's Gila again. Pazzini is the only exception.

I have to see Brown's disallowed goal again. I thought Naka was just onside.

True, although it may also be because all those strikers are quality bar Pazzini and not just Mutu... Hahaha

Wrong player sent off for Aalborg, number 4 sent off instead of no.2. What a blunder

^^ defo online with the last defender.

Does he hit that with his left or his right though? If its his left then theres defo time for him to stray offside.

That's the ball leaving his foot.

Doubt it. Adriano's crap now, Gila was crap until he refound Mutu and Pazzini is really really crap but still started for a top 4 Italian team because Mutu masked it so well.

And to think, you would have gotten away with it had it not been for those pesky facts
