Having done my research, a 48-seater would not reach Costa Rica. Dusseldorf is about as far as it can go.

Now, if we got 250-300 Boardsies and hired a jumbo, I would be interested. Hell, I would organise it.

    In time dude, in time.........

8 weeks to go, and Aer Lingus are having a sale. And I thought I got return flights very cheap at €79. :(

    No excuses, just do it.

Just doing a bit of digging about accommodation, this place seems decent and well priced and is only down the road from the beers venue (only about 5 minute walk judging by the map on their page and comparing it to the map in the BGRH thread)

I dunno how many people are planning hostels (or how many of you non-poor-student types are getting hotels) but they have 4 and 6 room dorms so if a few of us are planning on staying in hostels we could get a room to ourselves which would be pretty handy and cool I reckon

I flying back over to Berlin next Thursday for my third invasion of the promised lands.

The only Germany I know is from Rammstein and Laibach.
This only got me in trouble because of Tanz Mit Laibach, with I thought said 1,2,3 but says 2,3,4. So I was always ordering one to many bier.

So the only German you need is:

Ein bier bitte = One Beer Please.
    Danke = Thank You.
Ein CurryWurst = One Sausage of the Gods.

    Anything you need translating?

Just a gentle reminder that this in on in a couple of weeks, still plenty of time to sign up

A couple of Nocturns are signed up to go, a couple have pulled out but it should be a good weekend

The thread Here has the sign up list and details

A word of warning, there is mention in that thread of Karaoke, 99 Red Ballons being sung by large gentlemen in English and German, signed by a deaf guy, thongs on the large gentlemen singing 99 red ballons, baby oil and automatic baby oil dispenser built into a thong

It is not for the faint hearted

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,509 ✭✭✭✭randylonghorn

... automatic baby oil dispenser built into a thong ...
So that's the current slang for it?
