A friend of mines in the states is considering doing nursing over here in UCD next year. Anyone know what she needs to do exams wise and stuff in her final year of high school over there to get in and when she needs to apply and stuff. She's looking to get a placement over here in a hospital and do the degree as well?
    Any help would be great.

She's best off emailing the programme office on this page.

    http://www.ucd.ie/nmhs/programme_office.html

The course sorts out all the placements for the students.

Bare in mind the fees are going to be pretty big so I hope she has a few bob tens of thousands saved up.

According to the web (see note 3 at the very end of this page: https://myucd.ucd.ie/admission/entry_ug.ezc) non-EU students are only considered after all the EU applications have been processed...didn't think they could do that...harsh!

Wouldn't say there'd be much left over in nursing after all the CAO/EU places have been filled.

There's also the small matter of the E20,000 fees each year.
