Anyone else of the opinion that Halsey should definitely be disciplined for coming out and saying that he has gone with it for serious foul play? Fair enough if the man has made an honest error of judgement, but to come out and justify it with rubbish like that just makes him seem like he knew exactly what he was doing.

Regardless, the Man City player got a 2 week fine for the same offence a couple of weeks before Rio got suspended for 8 months. Explain how that is fair. What were the differences? Rio went shopping while the City player went to the airport? If Rio had gone airport shopping would he have been ok?

The difference was the man city player was told he was not being tested and so left the training ground. he was called later to say he needed to be tested. In making he way back to the training ground he was held up in traffic and missed the time hence the fine.

Rio on the other hand deliberately missed the drugs test. Anyone who knows anything about drugs testing at training grounds in the premier league knows that you can't forget about it you purposely go out of your way to avoid it. Thats what he did so they are two totally different cases.
