I've seen that beer, in Dunnes though Yeah its alrite, 99c a can if memory serves

Actually it was dunnes come to think of it. Spot on.

Was gonna get some but it looked a bit nasty so i grabbed my old fave Tyskie.

ah yes Denis, but by E1.60?!! Most independent offies are doing Duvel for between E2.70 and E3. E3.55 is just over-charging, full stop. And this offie aint no small one either

Yeah i'l give it a go next weekend, seems to be getting decent reviews.

Tonights combo is good old fosters & a few bottles of lech. Lech is a superb beer, not exactly a budget beer but god damn its tasty.

Fosters isn't a bad old brew either. better than the likes of bud,miller, carlsberg. IMO.

Crown Australian Larger ... Still €19.99 for 24x 375ml bottles in O'Briens. That works out at only €1.11 per 500ml

And a really nice beer too (imho).

My favorite ultra budget beer at the moment would have to be Fosters. 9.99 for 8 in dunnes stores.
Its not bad if its properly chilled & its 5% alcohol.

6 perllenbacher for 6.25 in lidl is unreal value as well. Won't last for long though.

:D:D yeah tiz a good deal alright. The pallet of perllenbacher in my local lidl was looking dangerously low when i was in on friday. It'l be gone before next weekend i'd say:(
