ah yes Denis, but by E1.60?!! Most independent offies are doing Duvel for between E2.70 and E3. E3.55 is just over-charging, full stop. And this offie aint no small one either ;)

@ antomorro - your choice in lager is nearly as bad as your choice in football teams ;) Karpackie is positively disgusting! :)

Tesco's own premium lager is good value and is the full pilsner 5%abv

Yeah i'l give it a go next weekend, seems to be getting decent reviews.

Tonights combo is good old fosters & a few bottles of lech. Lech is a superb beer, not exactly a budget beer but god damn its tasty.

Fosters isn't a bad old brew either. better than the likes of bud, miller, carlsberg. IMO.

Crown Australian Larger ... Still €19.99 for 24x 375ml bottles in O'Briens. That works out at only €1.11 per 500ml

And a really nice beer too (imho).

    Bavaria all the way... :D:D:D:D

My favorite ultra budget beer at the moment would have to be Fosters. 9.99 for 8 in dunnes stores.
Its not bad if its properly chilled & its 5% alcohol.

6 perllenbacher for 6.25 in lidl is unreal value as well. Won't last for long though.
