Debt Collectors..anyone know the ins and outs of what they can(t) do?

Im being plagued by intrum for a phone bill from meteor, it's a 500 euro debt. I've set up a payment plan with them but it's been hit &miss as i'm paid infrequently. Theyre doing the whole menacing threatning thing down the phone. Anyone know how i can deal with this or what my rights are in this situation? i am being told…
