A group of us meet up every sunday morning in dunshaughlin / Kilcock & Enfield. The three groups meet in Kilcok to make up a decent size group.

The Dunshaughlin time / meeting place is 8.45 at GAA Grounds on Drumree Rd.

The Kilcock time / meeting place is 9.30 at Ulster Bank, Town Square, Kilcock.

The Enfield time / meeting place is 8.45 at Enfield Train Station car park.
We also pass enfield again at 10.30 to pick up cyclists that are looking to do a shorter spin.

There is something for everyone as we try to plan our route to allow people to take short cuts back after 30km

The overall spin is 70 to 100km.

We are always looking for more people to come out with us so all you have to do is turn up.

The route for this sundays spin is Dunshaughlin/ Enfield - Kilcock-Donadea-Enfield-Rathcore- Rathmoylon-Summerhill. At Summerhill the 3 groups split for Dunshaughlin/Enfield/ Kilcock.

For anyone driving there is plenty of parking at Enfield & Kilcock. In Dunshaughlin there is parking in the community College, there is also a gym & sauna in the Peak Fitness gym at the back of the college.

Weather forecast is good for sunday.

    Helmets Required.

Thanks for the information. Can you give me an idea of the level of fitness required/average speed/route profile? I haven't done much cycling but am interested in joining a group.

We have some experienced cyclists who are just getting back on the bike after a couple of years off and some people new to cycling. the route profile is flat apart from the Dunshaughlin to kilcock which is hilly.
If your unsure of your abilty Id recommend trying the spin from Enfield at 8.45 or Kilcock at 9.30, this route is flat. That way you will get 40km in and you will know what your capable of.

The average speed is 15 to 16 mph but will naturally go up to 17 to 19 as people get fit. We will be keeping the speed steady and a flat route for the next couple of weeks.

We go out as a group and come back as a group so you dont need to be concerned about be left stranded.

Tomorrows weather forecast shows ideal conditions so no better time to try it out
