Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I rang the programme guy and he said that more than likely I have to repeat the module for the year/ the exam in may. I got 28% - abismal I know, that why I'm so devasated because Its not like I didnt work!! I probaby worked harder that i lots of people in the year. Do you think the board would progress me??

Sorry buddy, but I don't think they'd let you progress with 28%. What did you get in the original exam?

If you have been told you will have to repeat the year then that is most likely it. In some rare circumstances ppl can “carry a module”, but that’s very programme specific and not very common. Sorry, but plan on repeating the year :(

Do you mean repeat the entire year or just that module?

I just spoke to someone who did a (one year) Masters and they failed a repeat module. Does anyone know where that leaves them? Like they are finished the course, there is not an extra year to go onto so do they repeat the module or is that the end of it for them?

    Messy mesy business indeed!

AFAIK, they'll have to repeat just the one module they failed. I'm presuming this is the case because once you pass a module you are not able to repeat it the following year. Unless there is a different procedure for Masters courses.
