Do I really want to be "Upgraded"?

I’m just wondering if I really want to be “Upgraded” after all I’ve read on this forum.
I’ve had 2Mb broadband for 14 months now from Eircom and for all that time I’ve never had any problems whatsoever. Now, I’ve heard the Wexford exchange has been upgraded already but I haven’t.
My stats at the moment are:
    Line State Up
    Modulation DMT
    Data Path Interleave

    Downstream Upstream
Max Allowed Speed (kbps) 2048 256
    SN Margin (dB) 4.00 20.00
    Line Attenuation (dB) 55.50 29.50
    CRC Errors 5 1

Now, the SN Margin (dB) Downstream is usually around the 10.00 mark but the rest is what it normally is.
So, based on that, DO I really want to be upgraded to 3Mb?

Do you use voIP, play online games?

No, no gaming or voIP. Mostly just browse a few forums and a fair bit of downloading.

Judging by your SNR margin it's possible that they didn't upgrade you because the 3 meg connection wouldn't be stable. 10dB should be ok but if the connection got any faster it would start to become a problem.
