Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How about suggesting them for the supplier sticky thread if you have a good experience?

    guys

thanks for all the responses, but everyone you recommended are quoting me €300 - €350. At this stage I have decided to get my old dish and sky box from home. So all I need now is someone to install and align. Does anyone know of anyone in Galway (city) who will do this for me without me having to take out a bank loan?

I dont think the quotes you got are unreasonable for a sky box install

    fair enuf Tony,

I'm probably a bit behind the times. Either way I now have my own kit, I just need someone to install and align it for me. What would be a reasonable price for that you reckon ?

Hard to say to be honest as lots of guys including myself are not keen on installing existing kit for warranty reasons. Would you like to have a go yourself? Theres a video on my site showing the basic principles and if memory serves Byte has an instructional page too.

I might be able to do it for you if the mounting point is in a reasonably assessable area. But you say your a student and probably in rented accommodation, do you have permission to put up a dish, drill holes through walls etc?
