a/t switch on primera???

    Hi folks, brother just got a 97 automatic nissan primera,there is a switch on the dash with a/t on it with snowflake sign(presumming cold) and s on either side,could anyone tell us what it is for please.

    The * snow flake setting is for driving in snow, car starts off in second gear, the "s" is sport setting for the transmission, supposidly quicker gear changes and holding revs longer.

    Yup, that's it. on some cars, the snow button makes the (electronic) throttle less sensitive too
