hot press/boiler cupboard question

    Does anyone know what the switches are for in the hot press that say on/off and bath/sink on it?

    tks in advance

    (im guessing we all have the same equipment in our houses/flats)

    Called me Mr Stoopid but what does it do? Never had one before in London. Our building had a central boiler and hot water on tap, 'scuse pun. :D

    Immersion heater - turn it on for hot water. "Sink" setting will give you approx a sink's worth of hot water, "Bath" will give you a bath's worth....

    If you have your heating on this will also give you hot water
