Radio in Canada - Internships/work

I'm thinking about going to Canada for a year and am trying to find information on radio stations and the possibility of getting an internship or any work in a radio station in general....does anyone know what the radio industry is like in canada/has anyone ever worked in radio there that could offer some advice? Thanks :)
