Control voltage cables?

Hi guys, just a simple question that i can't find the answer to online. I have a roland sh101 and will be getting a midi to cv convertor for it in a couple of weeks, just wondering what cables are used for linking through cv? is it a normal mono audio cable?

Any old bit of 2 core with a mini jack stuck on the end.
