Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For jaysus sake lads...

Watch it again. Positioning has nothing to do with it - the keeper is practically on his line, yet he somehow manages to let the ball slip between himself and the cross-bar.

Look at it another way - if a guy has a strikes from 40 yards and it goes through the keeper's legs, it can hardly be classed as a great goal, can it? Doesn't matter how well the shot was struck, it goes down as a blunder. Case in point:

West Ham in particular had played some really sexy football in the first halfhour, culminating in an orgasmic team goal. Six first-time passes, strolling rings around Wigan midfield/defence, Cole stroked it into the net. Lovely.
