sallins activities???

    hi,
    living in sallins 4 years now but recently become single mom of 2. need to get out of the house and away from the kids at least 1 evening a week and looking for something in the town to do like badminton or something along those lines. anybody out there heard of anything fun to do and a good place to make new friends?

    wasn't there kayaking going on in the canal?Saw them out once but not over the summer,maybe bad weather.Looked like great craic and didn't seem to be too tough.

    Is there a ladies fotball or camogies team?

    Clane Community College also have evening classes coming up soon if your looking to turn a new leaf and if you have transport there.They have a rake of different subjects.Want to do the photography one myself next year.

    Unfortunately Irelands only answer to socialising seems to be the pub....
