Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

N32 eastbound - Bus lane open or not?

I use this road every weekday and recently, since the right turn to Coolock and reopened, am wondering if the bus lane northbound (to Clarehall) has re-opened because the sign that stated bus lane had closed is at the bottom of the pole facing the other way while if you are going southbound from Clarehall there is a garda notice stating that any vehicle can use the bus lane?

I think it is open to all vechiles indefinitely as there are no dublin bus routes that go up that road anymore so it was pointless having it bus only. I will admit I am no expert and am open to correction on this though.

The bus lanes were left open to all traffic even after they reopened Clonshaugh Road.

A-Train, is this going both ways?
As I said there is a garda notice going southbound but nothing indicating one way or the other going northbound.

    The N32 is east/west!

AFAIK the bus lane is in operation eastwards but not westwards - i.e. going westward all vehicles may use the bus lane.

As far as I know from listening to Live Drive on Dub City FM they said both lanes were still open when Clonshaugh road reopened.

Both bus lanes are not in operation. Any bus lane that doesn't have signs up telling you what time the bus lane is operational for is not a bus lane. It would be nice if the odd indignant taxi driver knew this!

They still have roadworks on Clonshaugh Lane so, supposedly, are leaving the bus lanes non-operational until it is completely finished. But I can't see them reinstating the bus lanes while there are no buses using it, or is that just me being optimistic.

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering where the north/south N32 was!
