I'd have had Mascherano as the first name on the sheet. Maybe Alonso as well. No way would I have had Babel on it. Bosingwa did not look that good to me nor Cole either.

Did Carvalho really impress that much during his 10 mins on the pitch? Carra didn't have a tackle to make so how would he get into the team, was it for his range of passing and ability going forward? Babel is awful on the right, just wasted in that position.

I wouldn't pay much attention, just surprised someone like him gets paid for his opinion.

Or does he include the CL games?

Cole and Bosingwa got up and down the wing pretty good but every cross was 30 yards to far, horrible performances.

It's entirely possible that Garth Crooks just writes these names down, and someone from the BBC site does it for him. It's also entirely possible that Garth Crooks isn't very good at making a team of the week.
