Get the best from my Internet Radio

So, I have an internet radio. But I feel I'm not getting the best from the BBC On Demand stuff. Can anyone recommend some good programmes I should be listening to? Also, some late night (Irish time) programming from perhaps America or Australia or other English speaking stations that I'm missing out on. Cheers
