Opel tigra on fire @ M50 toll

    Anyone see that Opel on fire in the hard shoulder beside the M50 toll bridge Plaza yesterday evening...The fire was gettin big!!! Anyone know the circumstances.

    Yes, there was a problem with water getting into the ABS wiring and shorting out.

    Yeah I passed it at about 7.20 that evening and it was blazing away merrily with big black clouds of smoke. The heat was something else though - I could feel it coming into my own car as I passed. I passed by the spot yesterday morning and all that was left was a bit of scorched grass.

    Give it rest for jaysis sake. There were many other smartypant comments about Tigras which seemed to have escaped your radar. I was first, go bask in my hilarity.
