    MR: "Whoops, back-outski"
I've a feeling this will happen quite alot... LOL

I remember a similar thread on 2+2 a while ago where some guy came on and made the exact same proposition, but for more money, then when some really good on-line players started coming along saying they'd play, he started making stipulations to get out of playing them, such as they weren't allowed to have ever played Live before etc. etc.

So if by some miracle this poster is this Micky guy, he'll find a way to wriggle out of playing anyone who would be BR'ed for 5k SnG's. It's all well and good laying down the challenge to look like a big man, it's quite another to actually playing someone who is much better then him.

    The chances of him accepting Dagunman's 10 x 5k SnG's is about 1% IMO.

I'm quite looking forward to another one of these Live hot-shots made look like a fool... :D

but IF its not then anyone with 5 grand should take this challenge some of you guys should be fighting eachother to take his money
Unless you're a degenerate, you need alot more than 5k to play a single HU 5k SnG. It's also pretty pointless, you might as well just play pitch and toss.

10+ 5k SnG's is what will need to happen.

1 SnG doesn't prove anything, just say they're both dealt AA and KK in the first hand, they get it all-in, a K rivers and it's over. Who's the best player??

She was working in there last night so might be awhile... I'll keep you posted, although if she's not up by 4.30 then I won't be able to confirm until Monday.

How successful is this guy in poker terms?

He speaks of been a "wealthy business man". Nothing of his poker exploits.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭Ste05

I think these Poker exploits are pretty impressive...
I am a veteran live player with hundreds of thousands in earnings in Irish poker.

Anyone who believes this is thick. Who actually says 'I'm a wealthy business man, money is no object to me'. He sounds like a bad guy out of a batman cartoon.

I am a veteran live player with hundreds of thousands in earnings in Irish poker. I am here because I have heard this is the epicentre of the Irish online poker community. I have noticed in recent times the amount of online poker players arriving at the live felt with bulging bankrolls and a cocky swagger. I have never met one though that i would rate as a decent player. Here is the challenge: I will play any Irish online player in five thousand euro heads up freezeouts. The game will be no limit hold em. The structure can be decided by my opponents. I am confident enough in my game to adapt to any structure. My only stipulation is that we must play on my turf.......where else but the Riverside Casino in Drogheda? I eagerly await replys from the online superstars of Irish poker.

Ps. If anyone doubts my credibilty just ask anyone from the Louth poker scene

If money is no object to you Sir, then why don't you try and put some of the BIG online players on pokerstars etc...in their place and instead of €5000 Freezouts...try a couple of €20,000 ones and that should put you in your place.

Don't see the point in a mouth piece coming on boards bashing his skills and bankroll around the place.

    Post by "protective" removed.

Basically saying things about Micky Radigan that may or may not be true, it's not worth the hassle, this may not be the real Micky Radigan so there's no way we're gonna let people say things about him that could be libelous, even if this is the real Micky Radigan there'll be bo libelous posts allowed. Do it again protective and you'll be banned.

Hmmm she heard nothing about it last night anyway. Stated it could be true, asked her to check with her dad.

    Cheers RasTa.

Does anyone know this Kevin Fitzpatrick guy either, who would be able to ask him if this happened??
I want to play online players. I have just been informed by Kevin Fitzpatrick that you are predominately a live player....

Kevin is well known , he wouldn't be involved in a pi$$ing competition like this so it does smell even more of a rat with that statement.

Wanna PM me some of their names so I can find out??

I'd like to put this to bed if it's not true, but even if there's a glimmer of hope it is true, I want to let it go, I'd hate to stop the guy winning 50k+.

Yeah I know, it's just so hard to let go of such a beautiful chance though.

Ah well, I suppose I'll stop the fun now and lock her up... :(:(:(
