So what was going on there this morning. I was going past it on the way to work and during the 10 minutes where I was going passed the Airport grounds I saw 3 marked Garda cars, one marked garda bike, two ambulances, two fire trucks, two airport police cars and one un-marked garda car. All passed me at different times but they seemed to all, except for one ambulance, to be heading into the Airport grounds. All had their sirens on and lights flashing, the un-marked garda car was even driving on the wrong side of the road for a bit

Was it just a drill or does anyone know what was up?

    Seriously?

(Cos I saw 3 Ambulances heading north on Finglas Road this morning about 8AM and was wondering why)

I doubt that's true, I was right at the perimeter of the Airport I would have seen smoke or whatever. Planes were landing and so on.

Yeah I was going past the airport from 8.00 until about 8.15, that's when I saw all this.

So ambulance crew and firemen are fair game for the junk food jokes? When did that start?
Firecrew are some of the fittest and strongest people around, they have to be

I have said this on a previous post - this guy is a fcukwit - sitting waiting for posts in order to reply in the most antagonising way.

Have a look at some of his other posts – a real fcukwit – never out of the bedroom I’d say.

    Run along now……..

I've had a few PM about the above bans and most people think I was too harsh. On reflection, I've lifted them. :)

Now folks - don't feed the troll - don't take the bait!! ;)

Probably. Anymore than that and someone would know about or it would have been on the news. One of the lads in the aviation thread might know. If they did they might have spoken up by now. Maybe ask over there...

Were they on the way to the wrong airport?

Is it possibly related to this and they were rushing to the scene?

It was because of a visit by the Russian foreign minister.
