    Hi
My electric shower is 10 years old and has stopped working  so I think its time for a replacement - When I get a new shower - will it be a simple enough job or will pipe work be involved - I really hope tiles etc. will stay put.:)

I've moved this from Greystones/Charlesland as I think you may get a better response here. Mods, feel free to move it back.

with some brands like Triton, the new models and the old models match up WRT cable and water connections. Some have chenged a little and its more difficult, therefore this could either be a simple job or a smelly one, have a look at the guts in the shower, take a pic and head down to your supplier and match one up would be my advice. Powering things down etc is a big convern so I hope you can do and check that.

+1, you can probably buy a shower that's a fairly close match, if you do a little searching....

But it might just be a blocked filter on your existing shower, so why replace it? Have you checked the filter on it?
