Where can I get low cost GU10s

Installed some of the energy saver spots last year as part of the be kinder to the environment pressure from the kids ......

..... only thing is replacement bulbs seem to cost in excess of €8.00 :eek: at the local stores.

Not sure of the benefit of low wattage consumption if the poxy bulbs cost €8.00 and lasted less than 8 months (although perhaps the ones that came with the spots are only half decent yokes)


Is there anywhere in Dublin or online to get these for a realistic price ?

Ebay of course. I bought 50 of them off ebay few months back. They blow like crazy..

electrical wholesalers for brand ones, and those Euro value shops have them too, not that i'd recommend them, but you asked for the low cost option

GU10's shouldnt be much more than 4 Euro. Replace them with low voltage and they last twice as long with better light
