Appears Obama already did it. She doesn't even know what programs exist in the areas she is proposing. Oh dear.

“We’re going to do a few new things also,” she said at a rally in Cedar Rapids. “For instance, as Alaska’s governor, I put the government’s checkbook online so that people can see where their money’s going. We’ll bring that kind of transparency, that responsibility, and accountability back. We’re going to bring that back to D.C.”

There’s just one problem with proposing to put the federal checkbook online – somebody’s already done it. His name is Barack Obama.

What's with all the bizarre and relentless fascination with Sarah Palin? You do realize she is only the Republican VP pick... it's McCain who's running for President against Obama, right?

Looking at the details of the article, her proposal may well cover budget issues not covered by the Obama/Coburn legislation either currently in effect or proposed.

    NTM

Oh right. So you read my link on McCain on Colbert? Or on the view? Or trying to remove people from the voting register? Or spreading the lies on his adverts?

Or how about on a morning show spouting lies?

Or McCain giving out about Fat Cats but is actually funded by them.

Or McCain giving out about Wall Street then retracts his criticism in a statement to wallstreet?

I could go on. I guess your response is that you no longer defend Palin as a valid VP?

tbh they are both easy targets.

    For example?

Interesting also that Obama pushed the bill through with a republican who is considered quite conservative.

Here is the website by the way.

Wall Street donations to both parties.

TBH I don't think it makes any difference whether he does or not see her as valid. Unlike us he will actually get to vote on it. As for the original piece the writer chose a particular line on her comments. They could have been viewed in a number of ways. This election really has turned into a bizarre obsession with semantics on both sides. Also found this on the BBC website on how we form political views.

I didn't see Obama's name anywhere on that link you provided. But if he had a part in it... great! Let's hope Obama actually did something in those 143 days (in how many years?) he actually spent on the job as US Senator.

he had a part in the amending of it in 2008

actually McCain had involvment with it too (more so then Obama).

Which actually surprisingly makes Palin's comments probably worse because while its one thing not knowing what your opponent has done, its worse not knowing what your running mate has done.

Hmmmmmmm... "Obama pushed the bill through" versus "he had a part in the amending of it." Me thinks someone here Doth Profess Too Much.
