They had time to change the website to grey out the boxes and what not, but not to put a post up on their front page? :rolleyes:

Login on the website has been down since the server DT earlier today, game was working less about an hour ago though.0 -

I dont have any special edition or anything (at least I didnt order any... I walked into town and bought it today over the counter. )
the back of the manual reads: 157-SE-MCOUK .. which i am guessing refers to Standard Edition.
Anyway, I stuffed in it there with my first account details and it accepted that though it looks like a simple mail form to me so I doubt it does anything.
So far, this is a load of cack.

The needed code is of the form 6 - 5 - 4 -5 -4 -6 and probably begins with something like WARSEA.0 -

Yep, I recognised the key alright, I just thought that that other code might shed some light on things.
I believe I might have sorted it. I will explain what happened.
When you register your account you will get an email that says this:
Once you have confirmed your registration by clicking on the button, you can log onto the portal with your login and password, and access the Subscription section to set up your account. You can also log onto the game. The login and password are the same for both the portal and the game.
this is a total fncking lie
You CANNOT login into the website at the moment. And you CANNOT log into the game EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE CLICKED THE LINK. There is another step they dont mention (bizarrely!)
You need to go back to the website and click the CODE button and fill in that form. This will MAIL your key to them and they seem to be hand authenticating them so it will take 10-15 minutes for them to send you confirmation that your account is finally FULLY set up.
When you type in your key, be very careful of D's which look like 0's, U's that look like V's and other gotchas.
Looks like i'm patching up now and shouldnt have any more problems.
