    To realistically have a chance, someone needs to be getting 560. The 480 thing is only the minimum. Anyone who thinks this will take medicine out the hands of the "nerds*" should quit the leaving cert now and become a post sorter.

    *A stereo type applied to people who do good y those who lack the mental capability to understand that intelligence can come natural.

    The best judges of the new system will be those who go through it.

    But personally, I don't predict much change. They'll still be pretty much like what they are now. There will be those that do nothing but study, those that only study right before the exam, a few legends, a few idiots, some arrogant a**holes and (hopefully) more who genuinely care about others and want to help people.

    In short, they'll be exactly the same as what you'll find in any college course (or any walk of life for that matter).
