    Apparently the hotel has just been refit and there's an auction of the old furniture and stuff somewhere, I think Mallow. Anyone know the details?

    Answering my own question, the hotel were very quick off the mark in replying, fair dues:
    Auction at St Colemans Park, Macroom on Saturday 27th September, 12noon
    at St Colemans Park Macroom. Viewing on Friday 26th from 3 - 6 and
    Saturday 27th from 10 - 12noon.
